This lovely antique Victorian brooch depicts two slender greyhounds racing at full speed, Circa 1900.
The greyhounds display fabulous detailed workmanship and are decorated in sparkling white Paste stones with red Paste eyes and Enamel jackets.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
The piece is all set in Silver and fitted with a sturdy pin and safety catch.
Complete with hallmark on the reverse of the tail.
This is a lovely piece of antique jewellery, a great collectors piece that looks beautiful when worn!
